New Building

Also taking part in the Note Burning was Wayne Hughes, Chairman of the Building Program and

a vital part of the Inside finishing of the building. Wayne donated untold hours of his time (we could not have

paid him for all of his time) to the building of this Multipurpose Building.

PRAISE THE LORD!

God has allowed us to enter the year 2007 debt free on our Multi-Purpose Building.

We thank God for the Blessings He gave or Church family throughout the year that enabled them to give enough money to achieve the goal of getting the building paid off ahead of time.

 At a Special Called Business meeting the W.M.U. Ladies got the ball rolling, to get the Building paid off in 2006,  by giving a $10,000.00 donation. (The W.M.U. had originally planned to buy a bus.) Hugh & Betty Whitman, gave a donation and also made a challenge to the rest of the church to dig down in their pocket books and get the Building paid off. The W.M. U. and the Whitman's gave the rest of the church the incentive they needed to get the job done.

Along with the $10,000.00 donation from the W.M.U. the church raised the balance of the money due.

The Church Treasurer and the Church Secretary went to the bank on Dec. 26 and paid the Building Off.

The Praise for this belongs to God. Without His Blessings we could not have accomplished this task. To God Be All The Glory.

Thanks belongs to each one who gave to the Building Fund. You did not have to give but you chose to give a part of the Blessings God had given you. There are so many worthy causes to give to. Thank you for choosing to support the Building Fund. May God continue to Bless Each Of YOU.................
 

We are making plans and preparing to make our buildings more handicapped accessible. If you would like to help out with the cost of this project we would greatly appreciate your help. We still have work to be done both on the outside and the inside of the buildings to achieve this goal.

God blessed us this year and we were able to put in a lift for the handicapped. The lift is located on the Right hand side of the church, just beyond the door located by the organ. This has been a great help already to the many people who have need of this facility.

We have just recently started an Elevator Fund. This fund will be used to install and elevator to allow handicapped  folks full access the Multi-purpose Building. Currently the handicapped can only attend classes on the first floor.

Thank God for His Mercy and Kindness to us and meeting our needs.
